About Camp

The weekend involves a mixture of on-horse coaching which can include dressage, polework, biomechanics, showjumping, cross country and a guided farm ride, as well as off horse training sessions which may include rider psychology sessions, rider fitness sessions, riding demonstrations, and a few surprises! Sessions are tailored to suit the individual’s needs and may involve group and or private sessions. This is reflected in the price as this camp is very tailored and designed to be exactly what you and your confidence needs! You won’t be slotted in a group just because!

Who Is Camp For?

Our instructors have been selected to provide a warm and welcoming learning environment for you and your horse. You will all go away having achieved  more than you imagined but, no one or their horse will be pushed to do anything they don’t want to. Everyone will be treated as individuals and with respect whatever the level you are riding at.

The ability of the groups ranges from some who are not sure they want to even ride in front of people, to those regularly competing at BE Novice. This always works very well as we split the groups from individual sessions to groups of 3-4 depending on everybody’s goals so you will always get enough from your sessions. Whether we feel you need to do some groundwork, to have a private touch up on the  show jumps. Some people want to come more for the social, to be fed, watered and have some special horsey time and that is fine too. The ethos here at coaching for confidence is that as long as you’re enjoying your horse, we are happy!

Itinerary

Arrive Friday midday and get started with either a lesson on the arena, or a coached hack around the amazing farm ride. There will be plenty of time to settle into the stables and set up your camp for the weekend, before getting together to get to know each other and enjoy a lovely dinner.

On Saturday there are two lessons to enjoy as well as off-horse sessions. We then finish with a final lesson on Sunday, before a de-brief, review of achievements and finally packing up to head home!

Important bits.

The camp costs £375. £50 deposit secures your place up to 1st May 2027 when the full balance will need to be paid. If you are booking after 1st May 2027 full balance will need to be paid upon booking.

There are no hidden extras – camp includes all stabling, food for yourself including snacks, tuition and coaching on and off horse, facility hire, camping pitch, pavillion with hot shower facilities, kitchen and relaxing area.

At least one photographer will be on site to capture the action throughout the weekend.

Stabling is permanent big airy stable block. Each stable will come with two bags of shavings. Additional shavings can be purchased with cash at camp.
